About Me

I'm Laura - a mum of 2 (4 if you count the dogs!) and I have the BEST job in the world! I’m a celebrant which means I get to work with incredible couples and families and tell your love story or if you’re planning a naming ceremony, I get to tell everyone all about your incredible little human! I live in between Stratford Upon Avon and The Cotswolds with my husband, our two little boys and our two cockapoos - Betty and Barney (like The Rubbles!). My friend once described my life as 'Joyful Chaos' and I think this sums it up perfectly - I wouldn't have it any other way :) 

I love baking, I love to sing but I am TERRIBLE at it! I love afternoon tea so much that I would call it a hobby and I am a PRO at the extra sandwiches game, and I love long dog walks in the countryside but only if it’s not raining. 

When we got married 7 years ago I loved every second and knew I wanted to work in the wedding industry - being paid to be a part of one of the happiest days of peoples lives - what’s not to love?! 

I’m not organised enough to be a planner, I’m too clumsy to be a florist and I’m rubbish at ‘angles’ so I’d be a terrible photographer! BUT what I am great at is being your biggest cheerleader, celebrating YOU and planning joyful, unique, happy days with all of your family and friends, so I decided to train as a wedding and naming celebrant and the rest is history!

In 2023, I felt like I was ready to take the next step in my Celebrant career and I’m honoured to say that I am now also a qualified Funeral Celebrant and am able to create a celebration of life for your loved ones. I completed my training with the wonderful Dinah Liversidge at the Celebrant Coaching and Training Academy and I am incredibly proud to say I passed with a distinction. I already feel so privileged that couples share their love story with me and it will be a privilege to share life stories now as well.
